Carl Christian Hein was ordained by the JSO on April 15, 1888. Hein served parishes in Wisconsin, Michigan and Ohio between 1888 and 1925. From 1912-1920, he served as president of the Western District of the JSO. From 1920-1924, he was the JSO's vice president; and from 1924- 1930, served as its president.
